A Little Painting, a Little Window

A little painting, a little window.

Many of my works feature a window of some sort. Windows have always fascinated me. Something about transparent walls, I guess. It's the idea of a window, not the physical window itself.

As a child, I was a daydreamer - looking out the window. I could sit and watch the wind, the rain, other kids playing. Windows let you observe and learn without getting involved. A quiet and introverted child, I found that daydreaming is successful when you are left alone with no interruptions. In daydreams, you can study the outside world, change it - make it better. Learn from it.

I hope you like this painting of a little window. I hope it helps you think of daydreams you've had. Maybe you'll stop for a moment or two when you get a chance and daydream … a little.
